This Murphy bed Hardware kit will fit a Queen size mattress sized 80 inches long by 60 inches wide or smaller, weighing between 50 to 80 lbs. Your mattress should be less than 12 inches thick in order to be able to use the optional leg crossbar. This is a vertical wall-mounted hardware kit, meaning the bed cabinet mounts to the wall at the top. The bed cabinet sit’s upright that is vertical.
Hardware parts come with a full lifetime warranty, meaning we will replace any defective hardware parts for free of charge as long as you own your DIY Murphy Bed.

The hardware made the assembly and construction so much easier. I can’t imagine how difficult it would be to build a custom pivot and counterbalance. This is the best! Easy instructions.. We used the plans and added our own flare to the design..

The videos of the bed make it look very straight forward. However, the accessory videos could not be found, such as the foot piece and the bar between the legs. Maybe I missed them, but I did look for them real well. Once I have built the bed, I will upload pictures.

Very clear and easy to follow instructions. Only one suggestion for future versions of your product. I found that the installation of the pistons was not possible without partial removal of the cabinet top as the stop does not allow clearance to tip the bed into the cabinet to allow the pistons to be attached.
Overall though, I’m very satisfied with the outcome. Trim and finish yet to be finalized.

I used the plans for MDF. All went together good but make sure you give yourself a full 2 days to cut all the wood, put it together, and install on the wall. I still have not painted it but the bed works well and is solid. I believe to adults can easily sleep on the design and it will hold up

The shipping was super fast, and the instructions are very detailed and easy to follow. I’m a Phys. Ed. Teacher, not a carpenter and I was able to build this bed and assemble it, over a weekend.
Before buying I asked Nadia a ton of questions, and she answered every one the same day. Excellent customer service! My only issue is I wanted a king sized Murphy, but queen was the biggest hardware kit they sell. So with many discussions with Nadia, I bought the queen kit, added 16 inches to all of the horizontal measurements, used 1/2″ plywood instead of 3/4″ for the face panels to cut down on weight, and voila! A king sized Murphy bed. The queen hardware works great. It’s plenty strong to raise and lower the bed.
Ever since covid, my wife has been working-out in our bedroom and pushing the bed against the wall to get a little more space. Now, she can just flip it up and she gets a ton of floor space. The bed cabinet only sticks out 16 inches from the wall. Its a win win! My wife gets all the space she needs for her home gym, and we get to keep our king size bed! The best part? The kit with shipping, all of the building materials, glue, screws, edge tape, stain and varnish only cost me $1087.00! The cheapest Murphy bed I could find on line in a pre built kit was $1800.00 plus taxes and shipping. It was only built with MDF not Plywood, and the reviews were terrible, so this kit was a no-brainer!
I’m seriously thinking of building a couple more of these for our cottage bedrooms now!

I did the entire build with plywood (no MDF) instructions are very good. I was using an existing pillow top mattress that is about 16 inches thick so I had to make the cabinet 20 inches deep.
All of the hardware works is working great.

Instructions were easy to follow. Bed balanced perfectly with the mattress on. I had trouble getting my credit card to work, but when I called to inquire why , the lady fixed everything up and even called later to inform me the order was processed. She even emailed me a copy of the directions so I could pre read before and get my plywood cut out and painted. Fed Ex kept me informed on the delivery status. Couldn’t ask for better support all around

I would recommend using all plywood and not particle board
Gas struts should have an adjustment I had a very hard time installing
